The Five Solas
The Five Solas of the Protestant Reformation are the bedrock of our faith and the foundation of how we evaluate every piece of media. They are not abstract doctrines — they are the Gospel itself, stated five different ways.
What is the Gospel?
The Gospel is the good news that God saves sinners through Jesus Christ. Every human being has sinned against a holy God and stands under His just condemnation (Romans 3:23, 6:23). We cannot save ourselves — not by good works, religious rituals, or moral effort.
But God, in His great mercy, sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to live the perfect life we could not live and to die the death we deserved. On the cross, Christ bore the full wrath of God against sin so that all who trust in Him would be forgiven and declared righteous in God's sight (2 Corinthians 5:21).
Three days later, Christ rose from the grave — conquering sin, death, and hell forever. He now sits at the right hand of the Father, interceding for His people, and He will return to make all things new. This is the Gospel. The Five Solas unpack its glorious truths.
Sola Scriptura
Scripture Alone
The Bible is the sole infallible authority for faith and life.

Faith Alone

Soli Deo Gloria
To God Alone Be the Glory
All of salvation — and all of life — exists for the glory of God alone.
